Montreal Weather Welcomes Warm Spring Days Starting This Week

It’s safe to say that the weather in March was rather gloomy, but luckily it’s over! Spring weather has officially arrived and you can expect sunny and warm days starting this week.

The Weather Network is reporting double-digit degree days starting Monday, April 4.

For those of you who have been looking forward to the sun, you will have a “mostly sunny” Monday with highs of 10 degrees Celsius and an even nicer Tuesday with highs of 11 degrees.

It’s the perfect time to admire the sunset in Mount Royal Park or go for an afternoon walk to soak up that much-needed vitamin D.

While this week is off to a great start, as the saying goes for April showers, the rest of the week promises to be cloudy and rainy.

Despite the chance of less than stellar rainfall, temperatures are expected to reach 12 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.

Not enough sun? Do not worry. The weather in Montreal should improve further the week of April 11 to 17.

Starting April 11, Montrealers can expect highs of 10 degrees and a full day of sunshine. The weather will increase by one degree on Tuesday, with a “mostly sunny” forecast.

The real good days begin on Wednesday April 13 when temperatures are expected to reach 14 degrees Celsius. Do you know what this means in Montreal? Short weather! No, seriously, get those shorts ready.

While Thursday April 14 is expected to be cloudy with temperatures remaining at 14 degrees, Montreal will have yet another full day of sunshine on Friday April 15 with a high of 12 degrees Celsius.

Spring…we missed you!
