Surrey RCMP are looking for a suspect in sexual assault and break and enter

Surrey RCMP are looking for a suspect and anyone with information after a woman was sexually assaulted on Saturday morning.

A break and enter into a residence occurred around 6:40 a.m. and a woman was sexually assaulted by an unknown man.

Police were called to the 12900 block of 101A Avenue and officers spoke with the adult resident, who was taken to hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as a fair-skinned man in his 30s, about 5ft 6in tall and wearing dark colored clothing.

Police are conducting video and canvassing of witnesses in the area.

The Surrey RCMP Special Victims Unit is asking anyone with information or CCTV or dash cam footage to contact investigators at 604-599-0502.
