Toronto entrepreneurs launch The Hartly, the most recent

Toronto, Ontario, November 30, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Toronto entrepreneurs Reza Abedi, Josh Herman and Sam Reznick and owners of cocktail bar / nightclub Daisy, Lobby and others have announced the launch of The Hartly, the newest restaurant, lounge and variety theater on King West, Toronto.

Herman said the launch of The Hartly provides Toronto nightlife enthusiasts with a usual hub to dine, relax and be entertained. It’s located in the old Goldie Bar, which is now closed, but according to Herman he’s not affiliated with it because The Hartly is a brand new brand.

“The Goldie property group was dismantled when it closed. When we took over, we weren’t interested in keeping the brand, ”Herman explained. “We reorganized the whole with Chef Daniel Ken (previously with Blowfish and Lavelle).”

Herman shared what nightlife lovers can expect when visiting and dining at Hartly.

“The ground floor is all we have opened so far; it has a restaurant / lounge with a variety theater and burlesque shows, ”Herman said. “We built a stage, changed the facilities, and added a 25-person communal table that doubles as an entertainment track.”

“We redesigned the entire space with a new footprint and new features,” Herman added.

For those curious about the Hartly’s menu, the lounge offers almost everything, cocktails, hot and cold dishes, salads, main courses and desserts. Herman invites anyone wishing to visit to book first to make their dining experience seamless.

As there is always a pandemic, The Hartly makes the health of its customers a priority. For health and safety, they make frequent monitoring of the body temperature of their staff compulsory. Disinfection of surfaces inside the salon between visits is also strictly enforced.

The Hartly is open Monday to Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. It is located at 619 King Street West Toronto, ON, M5V 1MV.
