Vancouver News: SkipTheDishes Reveals Its Year’s Most Popular Delivery Items

New data from a food delivery app has revealed that a Vancouver resident is living big, spending nearly $ 1,000 on a single takeout order earlier this year.

SkipTheDishes released its most recent report on the top orders on its platform so far in 2021 on Thursday.

The company said the largest order in Vancouver this year cost $ 999.99 and consisted of alcoholic beverages. The order apparently consisted of a Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial 750ml bottle, two Clase Azul Reposado 750ml bottles and a Ciroc Apple 750ml.

On the food side, a starving Vancouverite also made company highlights for ordering 1,008 times so far this year.

According to the report, this person even beat the most frequent customer in the province who ordered a total of 1,001 times.

The top three ordered items in Vancouver were chicken sandwiches, fries and cheeseburgers.

However, in the rest of the province the palaces appear to be a bit different. Miso soup, garlic naans, and California rolls topped the SkipTheDishes list among the top three items ordered.

A total of 567,558 sushi rolls have been delivered across the province by the company so far this year.

A person from Surrey also made the highlights as the biggest award recipient so far this year across Canada. They earned a total of 49,650 points, which translates to $ 496.50.

SkipTheDishes also found that Canadians appear to enjoy late-night meals more this year, up 40% in 2021 from 2020.

Perhaps this is the reason the company has sold more than 17.1 million chicken wings, 1.9 million tacos and 8.3 million pizzas across the country so far this year. .
