This year, Thanksgiving Day in Canada falls on Monday, October 11, but that doesn’t mean you should limit your diet to just one day. If you’re looking to order a catered feast or take home, Vancouver restaurants are stepping up their game for a food-focused vacation.

For those who consider themselves traditionalists – at least when it comes to what’s on the Thanksgiving table – turkey and all the sides (with a few liberties, of course) come to the fore – and these restaurants and Local caterers definitely have the goods. Offering an elevated take on a traditional Thanksgiving spread, the Complete Holiday Meal Packages include a range of chef-prepared fall favorites that reflect the delicious bounty of the harvest season. On-the-go Thanksgiving treats include a 10lb pre-cut turkey, sides that will appeal to everyone, and a fall pumpkin pie for dessert. All items come packaged in ovenproof containers and come with simple heating instructions. Designed to feed up to six people, Savory City’s Thanksgiving To-Go Dinners are priced at $ 275 and will be available on-site at the East Vancouver Catering Headquarters (3925 Fraser Street) on October 8 from 12 p.m. at 16 o’clock. a.m. and October 9 and 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Additional items are available to order to complete your feast, including gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pies. Beer and wine can also be purchased à la carte.

Crowd-favorite Turducken’s Feast makes its triumphant return to the menu exclusively for Thanksgiving to help people feed their flocks with its Turducken Meal Kit available Friday, October 8 through Sunday, October 10. Each Turducken Feast is gluten-free, feeds four hungry adults, and includes a full turducken – a three-in-one one-piece show with roast turkey, duck and chicken – and a range of side dishes with written instructions and Detailed video from Juke Chef and co-owner Bryan Satterford on how to get it all at your table. Packages can be picked up from October 8-10. Advance orders are encouraged as there are only a very limited number of packages available, and they may sell out. PICA’s Signature Thanksgiving Feast includes everything you need, including Roasted Apple Thyme Brine Turkey Breast, Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes, Herb Cranberry Stuffing, Sprouts Brussels with Concord raisins, roasted and glazed brown sugar, mini carrots with cinnamon, beets with minced fennel and orange plus Traditional turkey sauce, orange-bourbon sauce with cranberries and brioche buns and pumpkin pie and apple with custard. A warm and serve Thanksgiving take-out package with all the holiday favorites. A sage roast turkey takes center stage, accompanied by all the traditional garnishes and sides prepared to perfection. Boulevard’s beloved cornbread appears alongside a spicy butternut squash soup starter with apple cider and maple cream. For dessert, a raised pumpkin pie with vanilla whipped cream, milk chocolate and spicy ice cream. This Thanksgiving Provence Marinaside offers its popular Turkey-To-Go. Priced at just $ 42 per person, each individual dinner is pre-cooked and only requires reheating to be served. The complete meal includes: cut turkey meat; grilled vegetables; cranberry sauce; mashed potatoes; sauce; French baguette; and a mini pumpkin pie. The deadline to order Turkey-To-Go is October 6 and must be done online. Pick up on Friday October 8 or Saturday October 9 between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m.


Forage offers two take-out options, individual take-out portions or a whole roast turkey and all the garnishes to serve 12 to 15 people. Pre-orders are now available online with pick-up on October 9 and 10.

Railtown Catering’s much-loved Turkey Take-Out Packages return this Thanksgiving, providing an elevated celebratory feast without any hassle. Returning for the ninth consecutive year, the Reheat and Serve packages will be available for pickup and delivery from October 9-11. Featuring a fragrant, tender-to-the-bone turkey with all the trimmings including Dried Apricot Chestnut and Brioche Bread Stuffing, Maple Glazed Sweet Potatoes and a range of other traditional sides prepared to perfection. Vancouver’s pioneering restaurant company has created a complete feast, for two or more, of a classic turkey or vegan beet Wellington, accompanied by salads, buns, favorite toppings and an assortment of desserts. Pre-orders are now available online for pickup at 1545 West 3rd Avenue or delivery October 7-10. Guests can choose between two main courses to go with any side dish. The classic feature is a selection of white and dark turkey meat, consisting of brined turkey breast with confit turkey thigh. Last year’s popular Vegan Beet Wellington is back, accompanied by a mushroom duxelle and spinach and tahini vinaigrette. $ 42 per person.
